The Walter GX16-2E300N020-CF6 is a new, indexable carbide grooving insert from Walter's GX system, designed for use in GX16-2 double-ended toolholders. The MPN decodes as follows: GX = Walter GX grooving system; 16 = 16mm insert length class; 2E = double-ended (two cutting edges), E-style seat; 300 = 3.00mm grooving/parting width; N = neutral/straight cutting edge; 020 = 0.20mm corner radius; CF6 = chipbreaker geometry optimized for finish grooving of steel and stainless steel. The insert is manufactured in the WSM33 grade — a Tiger·tec Silver PVD-coated cemented carbide grade (AlTiN/TiSiN-based multilayer coating) rated for ISO P and M material groups, delivering high wear resistance and thermal stability for grooving stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steels.
