Walter GX24-3E500N03-CE4 WSM43S 5mm Carbide Grooving Insert (10pc)

The Walter GX24-3E500N03-CE4 is a new, uncoated carbide grooving/parting insert from Walter's GX24 (Cut-Off/Grooving) product line, ground in grade WSM43S with Tiger·tec® Silver coating technology — a CVD Al₂O₃/MT-TiCN multilayer coating that delivers enhanced wear resistance and toughness at elevated cutting speeds. Decoding the part number: GX24 = Walter's double-ended grooving insert system; 3E = double-ended, neutral orientation; 500 = 5.00 mm cutting width; N = neutral (straight) cutting edge geometry; 03 = insert height/thickness class; CE4 = chipbreaker designation for medium-finish grooving in steel and cast iron. Grade WSM43S is Walter's Tiger·tec Silver CVD-coated carbide grade, ISO application range P25–P45/K20–K35, optimized for grooving and parting-off of steels, stainless steels, and cast irons under medium to heavy cutting conditions. These inserts are designed for use in Walter Cut-Off/Grooving toolholders compatible with the GX24 interface, including Walter's G1041, G1042, and G1043 blade-style holders.
