The Walter P2000-7975414 is a new, indexable carbide milling insert in grade WKP35S, sold in the standard factory pack of 10 inserts. WKP35S is a Walter Select CVD-coated cemented carbide grade engineered primarily for milling steel (ISO P application range), offering a balance of toughness and wear resistance suitable for medium to heavy interrupted cuts and variable chip loads. The insert features a near-square body geometry with a single corner radius, a centrally located countersunk mounting hole for screw clamping, and a dark PVD/CVD multi-layer coating visible as the characteristic blue-black surface finish. This insert is compatible with Walter's P2000-series milling cutters and is manufactured in Germany to Walter's published tolerances. Typical applications include face milling, shoulder milling, and copy milling of low- to medium-alloy steels and cast iron where long tool life and process security are required.
