The Walter P3204-D19.05 is a new, round (circular) indexable carbide milling insert in the Tiger-tec® WSP46 grade, designed for Walter's F4042 and compatible round-insert face and shoulder milling cutters. The insert designation encodes a round (P = circular/round form in Walter's proprietary milling insert system) shape with a 19.05 mm (3/4 in) inscribed circle diameter and 05 mm thickness; the steel-bushing center bore accepts the standard clamping screw for secure, repeatable seating. WSP46 is a PVD-coated (TiAlN-based Tiger-tec® Silver) cemented carbide grade rated for P (steel) and M (stainless/austenitic) materials at medium to heavy milling — the package label confirms P●● and M●● suitability, with additional S●● (superalloy) capability visible on the application chart. The full-round geometry provides a continuously variable entering angle (0°–90° depending on axial depth of cut), delivering smooth ramping, helical interpolation, and circular milling; the insert is produced in Germany and carries Walter EDP 5591855.
