The Walter P6003-D19,84R WMP35 is a new, indexable solid carbide drilling insert from Walter's B4006/B4008 series Xtra·tec indexable insert drill system, designed specifically for the peripheral (outer) cutting position in right-hand drills with a nominal diameter of 19.84 mm (25/32 in). The insert geometry features a convex cutting edge design with a chip-forming topography engineered for steel and stainless steel machining, consistent with the WMP35 grade — a PVD-coated cemented carbide grade rated for ISO P and M workpiece materials as confirmed by the ISO material suitability sticker visible on the packaging (P●●, M●●, S●). WMP35 is a fine-grain PVD TiAlN-type coated carbide substrate offering a balance of toughness and wear resistance suited for interrupted cuts and varying cross-sections encountered in drilling. The insert seats into Walter Xtra·tec indexable drill bodies requiring the P6003 peripheral insert geometry at 19.84 mm diameter; it is single-sided and handed (R = right-hand), with a central mounting hole for screw clamping. Made in Germany per the packaging label; Walter internal reference numbers W007442098 and 5833926 are associated with this item per the Walter Select label.
