The Walter P6003-D21,41R is a new, indexable solid carbide milling insert in grade WMP35, designed for Walter's Xtra·tec® XT shoulder milling system and compatible high-feed milling cutters. The insert designation P6003 identifies it as a pentagonal-profile high-feed insert; "D21,41" encodes the insert's dimensional specifications (21.41 mm inscribed circle / seating geometry), and "R" denotes right-hand cutting orientation — visible in the photos as the asymmetric rake face geometry. Grade WMP35 is Walter's PVD-coated (AlTiN-based dark violet/grey appearance confirmed in photos) cemented carbide grade engineered for medium-to-heavy milling of steel (ISO P, ●●) and stainless steel (ISO M, ●●), with moderate suitability for superalloys (ISO S, ●), as shown on the Walter SELECT application chart on the packaging.
