This new Walter Prototyp Paradur Eco Plus machine tap, part number EP2051362-M8, cuts M8 metric threads to a 6HX tolerance class. It is a spiral flute tap with a dark THL coating, as shown on the label and visible on the tool. The spiral flutes pull chips back out of the hole, which suits blind-hole tapping on machining centers and tapping machines. The straight shank has a drive square, and the tap is also marked RZ08350694. It was made in Germany by Walter Prototyp and ships in the manufacturer's green sleeve.
