This is a factory-new box of 10 Walter SPMT09T308-F55 carbide milling inserts in grade WAK15, part of Walter's Tiger-tec® coating platform (EDP 5015845, made in Germany). The SPMT ISO designation decodes as follows: S = square shape (90°), P = 11° clearance angle, M = tolerance class M, T = with hole and top clamp chipbreaker seat, 09T3 = 9.525 mm (3/8 in) inscribed circle / 3.97 mm thickness, 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius, and the F55 chipbreaker is a dedicated milling geometry for cast iron applications. WAK15 is a CVD-coated cemented carbide grade (TiCN + Al₂O₃ Tiger-tec coating) rated ISO K (cast iron) with primary applicability confirmed by the double-dot K rating shown on the label; it targets gray cast iron, nodular cast iron, and compacted graphite iron (CGI) in face and square shoulder milling. The inserts are double-sided (negative basic shape / positive clearance per side), delivering up to 8 usable cutting edges per insert.
