This Walter TCMT16T304-RK4 is a 60° triangular positive-rake turning insert (ANSI TCMT32.51) in grade WKK20S with Walter's Tiger-tec Silver CVD coating on a carbide substrate. The ISO code gives a 7° clearance angle, M tolerance, a single-sided chip groove with a 40-60° countersunk center hole, a 9.525 mm (3/8 in) inscribed circle, 3.97 mm thickness and a 0.4 mm nose radius, with the RK4 chipbreaker geometry. The Walter Select panel on the box marks ISO K (cast iron) as the primary application area and ISO P (steel) as a secondary one, for external turning. The insert is new, in the original Walter box, and is marked Made in Germany.
