The Walter Titex A3389AML-2.6 is a new, solid carbide micro drill with a 2.6 mm cutting diameter, AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating, and through-coolant capability, as confirmed by the box label reading 'CARB ALTIN CLNT MICRO DR.' The A3389AML series features a 140° point angle, a cylindrical shank sized to the drill diameter (no step-shank reduction), and is designed for deep-hole micro-drilling in steels, cast irons, and stainless steels where thermal stability and chip evacuation are critical. The through-coolant channels deliver cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, extending tool life and enabling higher feed rates in demanding CNC machining center applications.
