WarmCable 6MJY1 400ft 1200W 120VAC Radiant Floor Heating Cable

The WarmCable 6MJY1 is a new, UL-listed (cULus) series resistance radiant floor heating cable rated at 1200 watts at 20°C on 120 VAC, with a fixed cable length of 400 feet designed to cover 65–135 square feet of floor area depending on installation spacing. This is a series heating cable — the full 400-foot length must be installed as a single continuous run; cutting the heating cable at any point will render it inoperable, as clearly noted on the factory label. The cable ships on its original cardboard spool with the factory UL tag still attached, dated batch 2011-05-06, and is suitable for embedding in thin-set mortar or self-leveling underlayment beneath tile, stone, or other hard flooring surfaces for in-floor electric radiant heating applications. The black cold leads (non-heating connection leads) are visible at each end of the spool, and the red-jacketed active heating section is wound on the spool in its original uncut condition. Compatible with standard 120 VAC GFCI-protected thermostat controllers; a dedicated 15A or 20A circuit is required per NEC guidelines for a 1200W load at 120V.
