The Watts 1 1/2 LF009M2-QT-S is a lead-free reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembly designed for potable water applications in compliance with NSF/ANSI 61 and California Prop 65 lead restrictions. This 1 1/2 inch female NPT threaded unit features dual ceramic disk check valves and two independent pressure relief cartridges that protect water supply systems from contamination caused by back-siphonage and backpressure conditions. The brass body construction with stainless steel internal components provides durability in commercial and residential plumbing installations, and the assembly is factory-tested and arrives ready to install.
