Constructed of lead-free bronze (LF designation visible on the ball valve bodies — "LFFBv" — confirming compliance with NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 lead-free requirements), it features two internally loaded independently operating check valves separated by a differential pressure relief valve zone, providing the highest level of backflow protection against both back-siphonage and back-pressure.
