The Watts LF009-QT-FS is a new, lead-free 1-1/2 in NPT reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembled in the USA, confirmed by the box label reading "1 1/2 LF009-QT-FS" and Watts part number 818DD9. Decoding the model: "LF" = Lead Free (≤0.25% weighted average lead on wetted surfaces, compliant with NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 and Safe Drinking Water Act); "009" = the Watts Series 009 double-check RPZ assembly with internal differential pressure relief valve; "QT" = quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs; "FS" = Flow Smart / full-port shutoff valves.
