This is a new Watts LF25AUB-Z3 lead-free water pressure reducing valve (PRV), 1-inch NPT inlet x NPT outlet, cast from copper silicon alloy (silicon bronze) body construction to meet NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 lead-free (<0.25% weighted average lead content) requirements for potable water service. The valve features a diaphragm-actuated, single-union design with an adjustable spring range of 25–75 PSI and a maximum inlet pressure rating of 300 PSI at 180°F (per label and Watts published data for the 25AUB series). The yellow powder-coated cast iron bonnet houses the adjustment screw mechanism, secured by four bolts to the bronze body, and the valve ships with a factory-preset outlet pressure; field adjustment is made via the top hex adjustment screw. Assembled in the USA per the box label, this valve is designed for residential and commercial potable water supply pressure regulation, compatible with standard 1-inch NPT pipe and fittings.
