This is a new Watts M115-3 FL hydraulic-operated, diaphragm-actuated pressure reducing control valve in 3-inch flanged configuration, designed for water distribution and fire protection system service. The main valve body is ductile iron with a factory-applied red epoxy coating, fitted with ANSI Class 125/150 flanged end connections visible in the photos, and the cover is secured by eight studs and nuts as shown on the face view. The pilot control assembly — visible in the photos — consists of a bronze pressure-reducing pilot valve, a brass solenoid valve, copper pilot tubing, and an isolation/needle valve arrangement that senses downstream pressure and modulates the diaphragm chamber to maintain a preset reduced downstream pressure regardless of fluctuating upstream supply. The M115 series is rated for cold water service and is commonly applied in municipal water systems, building water supply pressure regulation, and fire suppression system pressure management where a flanged connection is required. The pilot tag visible in the photos reads 'SET AT,' indicating the downstream set point was factory- or field-configured and should be verified before installation.
