The WEG 00718ET3E213T-W22 is a new, NEMA Premium Efficiency (IE3), W22 platform three-phase AC induction motor rated at 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) in a 213/5T frame with a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure rated IP55, suitable for both general-purpose and severe-duty inverter-duty (PWM-rated) applications per IEC 60034-1. At 60 Hz on 230/460 V, the motor delivers 1765 RPM (4-pole) with full-load amperage of 18.4/9.18 A, power factor of 0.82, service factor of 1.25, and IE3-rated efficiencies of 91.7% / 91.0% / 89.5% at 100/75/50% load; a 50 Hz / 380 V configuration is also nameplate-rated at 1455 RPM, 11.0 A, IE3 efficiency 89.6/89.5/89.5%. The cast-iron frame is foot-mounted (B3R/D), insulation class F with a DT 80 K temperature rise, ambient rating 40°C, elevation to 1000 m a.s.l., and the motor is CSA/UL listed for Class I Div 2 and Class II Div 2 hazardous locations as indicated on the nameplate. Bearings are 6308-ZZ (drive end) and 6207-ZZ (opposite drive end) lubricated with polyurea-based grease; the shipping weight per the carton label is 174 lb (79 kg).
