New WEG model 00718OT3E213T-S is a NEMA Premium Efficiency, three-phase, open drip-proof (ODP/IP21) general-purpose induction motor rated 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) at 1770 RPM (4-pole, 60 Hz), in a 213/5T frame with rigid base (F-1/B3(D)) mounting and rolled steel construction with steel plate frame material. Nameplate voltage is 230/460V AC (208V usable), drawing 18.3/9.14 A full-load with a 1.15 service factor, 91.0% NEMA nominal efficiency, and 0.83 power factor; the motor also carries a 50 Hz alternate rating of 5.5 HP at 1475 RPM on 190–415V with IE3 efficiency per IEC 60034-1. Insulation is Class F with a 80 K temperature rise (Design B, Code H, 40°C ambient), and the motor is inverter-duty rated for VPWM 1000:1 VT / 5:1 CT operation, making it suitable for variable-frequency drive applications in pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, and general industrial machinery.
