YG-1 UGMF70924 1/2 R.06 4-Flute Carbide Corner Radius End Mill

The YG-1 UGMF70924 (also cataloged as GMF70924) is a new, solid carbide 4-flute corner radius end mill from the V7 Plus-A series, ground in Korea to tight tolerances. The tool measures 1/2 in. cutting diameter with a 0.06 in. corner radius, 1/2 in. shank diameter, 5/8 in. flute length, and 2-1/2 in. overall length. The V7 Plus-A series features a variable helix, variable pitch flute geometry engineered to suppress chatter and extend tool life in hardened steels and difficult-to-machine alloys; the uncoated bright finish visible on this example indicates it is suited for non-ferrous and general-purpose steel applications. The 0.06 in. corner radius distributes cutting forces along the edge to reduce chipping and improve surface finish in shoulder milling, slotting, and profiling operations on CNC machining centers using standard 1/2 in. collet or end mill holders.
