The YG-1 WNMG432-UR (metric: WNMG080408-UR) is a new, trigon-shaped (80° included angle) negative-rake carbide turning insert in grade YG3020, a CVD-coated carbide grade with a gold TiN/TiCN/Al₂O₃ multilayer coating visible in the product photo. Per ISO designation: W = trigon shape (80°), N = 0° clearance angle, M = ±0.05–0.15 mm tolerance class, G = with chipbreaker hole, 08 = 8 mm inscribed circle, 04 = 4.76 mm thickness, 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius; the UR chipbreaker geometry is designed for universal roughing of steel (P-class materials), as confirmed by the P-only material applicability indicator and recommended cutting conditions on the label (Vc: 60–380 m/min, Fn: 0.30–0.50 mm/rev, Ap: 1.0–5.0 mm). Each box contains 10 pieces, made in Korea, and these inserts are compatible with MWLNR/L, DWLNR/L, and other WNMG-style toolholders with a 95° lead angle. The YG3020 grade is targeted at medium to rough turning of steel and cast iron at moderate-to-high cutting speeds.
