The Zerex ZXRU2 (by Valvoline) is a new, pre-diluted 50/50 ethylene glycol-based Inorganic Additive Technology (IAT) antifreeze/coolant packaged in a 55-gallon steel drum, ready to use directly — do not add water. As confirmed on the label, it provides freeze protection down to -34°F and boilover protection up to 226°F, making it suitable for year-round engine cooling system service in light-duty automotive and commercial fleet applications. The IAT green formula uses traditional silicate and phosphate corrosion inhibitors compatible with cast iron and aluminum engines in older domestic and imported vehicles that specify a conventional green antifreeze; it is not compatible with OAT or HOAT (orange/yellow/pink) coolant systems without a full flush. This product is blended and packaged in the USA by Valvoline Global Operations (Lexington, KY) and carries GHS hazard classifications for reproductive harm (ethylene glycol); for industrial use, review the SDS before handling and use appropriate PPE including gloves and eye protection.
