The Zurn Wilkins 1-600XL is a new, lead-free brass water pressure reducing valve (PRV) with 1-inch single union FNPT connections, factory-set to 50 psi with an adjustable range of 25–75 psi and a maximum inlet pressure rating of 300 psi. The body is constructed of lead-free brass (less than 0.25% lead on wetted surfaces), complying with NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 lead-free requirements, and is certified to CSE B356 and cUPC standards. The integral bypass design prevents pressure buildup caused by thermal expansion downstream, and the diaphragm-type sensing element provides accurate, stable outlet pressure across varying flow conditions. Rated to 140°F maximum working temperature, this valve is designed for installation on potable water service lines in residential and light commercial applications where municipal inlet pressures exceed safe plumbing system limits. Includes a tailpiece kit (union nut, tailpiece, union gasket, and O-ring) and maintenance instructions.
