Zurn Wilkins 1-975XL 1in RPZ Bronze Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventer

The Zurn Wilkins 1-975XL is a 1-inch Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) backflow prevention assembly constructed from lead-free bronze, providing high-hazard cross-connection protection for potable water systems in compliance with ASSE 1013, AWWA C511, and CSA B64.4 standards. The assembly features two quarter-turn ball-type shutoff valves with blue butterfly handles, two internally loaded independent check valves, and a differential pressure relief valve — all in a compact inline configuration with female NPT end connections. Rated to 175 PSI working pressure and 160°F maximum temperature, it carries USC FCCCHR (formerly USC Foundation) and cUPC listings, making it accepted by virtually all North American plumbing codes and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs). Typical installations include commercial irrigation systems, fire sprinkler supply lines, boiler makeup water, and industrial process water connections where high-hazard backflow protection is required.
