Zurn Z1180-1-1/2P 1-1/2 in Thermoplastic Backwater Valve New

The Zurn Z1180-1-1/2P is a new, USA-made thermoplastic backwater (check) valve designed to prevent sewage or wastewater from backing up into drain lines, offered in a 1-1/2 in pipe size as encoded by the '1-1/2P' suffix. The unit features a hinged, clamp-secured dome lid with a central T-bar handle for access and cleanout, four swing-latch lid clamps for a secure seal, and a visible perforated outlet port on the outlet side as shown in the photos. Manufactured by Zurn Industries (Erie, PA), the Z1180 series is engineered for use in floor drain and sanitary drain systems to comply with backflow prevention requirements in commercial and institutional plumbing installations. The thermoplastic body construction resists corrosion from wastewater exposure, and the unit ships with instructions enclosed per the label.
